Three recipes meant lots of measuring, slicing, grating and mixing to ready ingredients for baking and boiling. With hard work, strong team effort and attention to timing during the preparation process, class members met the challenge! The potatoes proved to be a smashing success (ha ha!) and went well with the tasty turkey meat loaf. Many students enjoyed two helpings of each. The fruit crumble made a nice finale to the meal. At the close of class, decisions were made about the menu for next week’s dinner when certificates of completion of the MDK course will be awarded. The class is excited about showing off their new cooking skills and enjoying a lovely meal with their invited guests.
